Overview

My team was faced with the task of redesigning the digital surface of Delta Dental, focusing on their immediate pain points. My role on this project allowed me to design the the visual interface, and assist with sketching and wireframes. My team consisted of an ACD, UX lead, and a UX designer. 

Delta Dental and their challenges: There was a major disconnect between the parent company and it's member companies, requiring two separate login's for users' dental insurance. Member companies also had full ownership over their site (design, content, structure, etc.) apart from DDPA. The parent company is taking steps to have a consistent experience across all sites. 

Our Approach

Create a template for all member companies that mimics the experience on the Parent company. Unfortunately there was technical limitations for creating a single sign in so we designed a guided flow, providing clear communication to the user every step of the way. To organize and surface their massive health and news articles and documents, we created a browsable resource library to help users quickly discover information important to them.
