Deloitte Expense APP
Responsive re-design
OVERVIEW
In attempt to bring light to Deloitte's mundane expense application, our studio team redesigned and built a responsive solution for thousands of Deloitte's users. I worked collaboratively with my fellow UX designers to create an entirely new and refreshed vision for Deloitte’s expensing system. I wanted to create an engaging experience through colors, typography and data visualization. To help with the rapid timeline and scope increase I brought on additional design resources, including a senior designer to help with oversight across our design team, ux, dev and client needs. This allowed me to focus on design handoff to dev.
FINER DETAILS: Phase two was designed from August 2015 - January 2016, refined our designs in the browser working along side our in house developers, the app officially launched in May 2016 (beta released in April 2016)
PHASE 1
Deloitte asked our studio team to help refresh their expense application, used by thousands of users on a daily basis. Because of the size and complexity of this project, it was broken up into 3 phases. During phase 1 of the re-design, we were asked to add new features to the existing application. Keeping a similar look and feel, I wanted to create a consistent responsive experience for digital receipts and also added additional features to the current desktop experience.
FINER DETAILS: Phase one was designed from April 2015 - July 2015. My roles on this project: Lead designer and ux designer. Started from the white board and designed all the way through high fidelity comps. Presented weekly to UX lead, broader internal team and client.
